Discussed rates again. Was tabled due to not having a new schedule ready.
Rick Wheeler discussed our new flow recorder and meter that is being installed.
We have not received our permit yet. This is due to a back log at the state level.
Also Rick called regarding having to measure the ammonia content, since we have no way of testing this, they informed him that we must test for this. We will have to take this to another lab.
Rick also reported that all equipment at the various lift stations were operating normal with no problems.
Discussed our delinquent accounts and some need to be turned over to the attorney.

C.T. Reported the name of the person damaging the fence on the lift station on Hwy. 62. This happened during a snow storm in Feb. The person is Robert McCutcheon on 20203 Michigan Rd. Marysville In. 47111. License No. 10 G9584. Phone no. 293-3320.
Mr. McCutcheon stated when I phoned him that no police report was made due to the numbers of accidents that morning. However, he said to get it repaired and send him the bill. Rick is taking care of this.
Ohio St. station was discussed and some of the neighbors are complaining of odor. Rick put die in the system and no leaks were evident. He will contact someone to see if we can reroute a spring that flows through this area, but the lift station is not leaking.
Our letters to delinquent accounts last months worked. Several paid partial or in full.
Rick Wheeler reported that all equipment was working properly.

Discussed budget for 1998. Gary has still not sent this to FMHA. He is to get on this right away.
Roger Lindsey, Attorney, was not present. However, the Repp property and the Stout property were discussed. We have been unable to get Stouts to allow easement to Repp’s property and this has been going on for years. It was decided to proceed to condemn to get easement.
Ohio St. plant was discussed. We have had problems with a natural spring there. Rick is to contact the county road dept. to try and get the culvert replaced. The cost to us thus far has been $300.00 for rental of backhoe and labor.

Rick Wheeler discussed new forms and new testing on discharge. Also we approved more work on some defective valves connecting the lagoons.
Okayed bill to Rick for hauling of rock on drive.
Discussed delinquent accounts.
Discussed rate increases, of which we still have not finalized. This will be discussed at our next meeting and hopefully a decision reached.

Claim vouchers were discussed and signed.
Rick Wheeler gave a report on the plant and lift stations. Everything looks good and is all working properly. We still need to have the county look at the road culvert on Ohio St. station. We are now going through an audit by the State Board of Accounts.
C.T. is to call Roger Lindsey to send letters to delinquent customers and proceed to get easement on Repp’s property.

Discussed the Water Corp. new lines and where they would be close to our lines. Directed Rick Wheeler to get with Greg Wiggam of the Water Co. and mark these lines if needed.
Discussed a new tap at the Pres. Church Sunday school bldg. Directed Rick Wheeler to get with Bill Siewert of the Church and discuss this.
Discussed some delinquent accounts.
Discussed our up coming closing audit conference with State Board of Accounts Aug. 25, 1998 at 6:30 A.M.

IDEM fee discussed. Rick Wheeler was to call and give our flow figures.
Deppe property discussed. We had problems where it was originally connected. Was not really our problem but we repaired at our expense to keep good relations approximately costing $85.00.
Ohio St. station had problems-Electric. Rick hired a contractor to correct.
Discussed Ron Repp property and lack of tap. Decided that if not worked out soon we will proceed to condemn.
Discussed getting promissory note from large accounts that are past due.
